The Southborough Coalition
The Southborough Encompass Coalition is a proud member of the Central MetroWest Substance Awareness & Prevention Collaborative (CMSAPC). This initiative is committed to preventing and reducing youth substance misuse in Southborough by supporting the health and wellness of residents, fostering community connections, and addressing the environmental factors that contribute to substance use.
Educational Campaigns
The coalition organizes workshops, community forums, and informational campaigns to educate families and youth about the risks of substance use and how to make healthier decisions.
Community Outreach
Encompass prioritizes connecting young people to caring adults and mentors who can guide them in making sound decisions. Their youth programs also empower students to participate directly in prevention efforts and community outreach projects.
Policy Advocacy
Encompass works alongside local policymakers and organizations to make meaningful changes, such as improving policies that limit substance access and promoting healthier community standards.
Recent Initiatives
The coalition rolled out an ambitious 2023-2024 Action Plan focusing on improving substance use prevention through education, youth engagement, and expanded community resources.
