The Northborough Coalition
Encompass, Northborough’s community coalition, is a proud member of the Central MetroWest Substance Awareness & Prevention Collaborative (CMSAPC). This initiative is dedicated to preventing and reducing youth substance misuse across Northborough by fostering community involvement, delivering education, and creating policy changes that support a healthier, thriving environment for everyone.
Educational Campaigns
Encompass organizes workshops, conducts outreach, and shares resources to educate residents about the risks of substance misuse. Their programs aim to empower families and youth to build a strong foundation for prevention.
Community Outreach
Youth participation is central to Encompass’ mission. The coalition encourages young residents to join its Youth Coalition, where they contribute to data collection, educational projects, and outreach efforts to build a safer community.
Policy Advocacy
Encompass works closely with local partners and policymakers to address access to substances and implement environmental and policy changes to reduce youth substance misuse. This includes securing a $625,000 grant from the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program to further their impact over the next five years.
