The Marlborough Coalition

The Hudson Youth Substance Awareness & Prevention (YSAP) Coalition is a proud member of the Central MetroWest Substance Awareness & Prevention Collaborative (CMSAPC). Their mission is to reduce and prevent youth substance use through local community systems that foster emotional well-being while limiting youth access to alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, and other harmful substances.

Educational Campaigns

MAP leads informative workshops, hosts events, and shares resources to help families and youth understand the risks of substance use. These programs empower the community with the knowledge needed to support prevention.

Community Outreach

Building strong relationships is central to MAP’s work. Guided by its mission, MAP is committed to fostering a safe and healthy community. This is achieved by providing evidence-based information and education to prevent the misuse of substances, including alcohol, nicotine, prescriptions, and marijuana.

Policy Advocacy

MAP partners with city leaders to create policies aimed at reducing youth access to substances like alcohol, nicotine, and marijuana. These initiatives are designed to prevent misuse and promote healthier outcomes for Marlborough’s youth.

Recent Initiatives

MAP recently collaborated to produce a Substance Misuse and Addiction Resource Guide, making key tools and support accessible to residents. This guide reflects the coalition’s commitment to providing resources that address the unique needs of Marlborough’s community.
