The Ashland Decisions at Every Turn (DAET) Coalition is a proud partner of the Central MetroWest Substance Awareness & Prevention Collaborative (CMSAPC). Their mission is to promote healthy decision-making and prevent youth substance use through evidence-based education, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives.

Educational Campaigns

Learning changes everything. The DAET Coalition runs workshops, shares helpful materials, and spreads important info to help families and kids understand the risks of substance use. For instance, programs like “Hidden in Plain Sight” teach parents how to spot warning signs in everyday spaces.

Community Outreach

We believe connections matter. That’s why Ashland works on mentoring programs and team up with others to link kids with supportive adults. Together, they’re building a community that celebrates well-being and smart choices.

Policy Advocacy

Change happens when communities come together. Ashland teams up with local leaders to create policies that make it harder for kids to get drugs or alcohol. These efforts have made a big difference by boosting awareness and strengthening prevention efforts.

Recent Initiatives

Ashland is proud of some big accomplishments, like promoting the Positive Culture Framework to build resilience and support in the community. Plus, they’ve added more Behavioral Health resources to help tackle emotional challenges tied to substance use.
